finnegan the squirrel>>>

A woman found this baby squirrel and began nursing it and taking care of it in her home. Her very pregnant dog-- feeling motherly i suppose-- took the squirrel in as one of her own puppies. Once the pregnant dog had her puppies, they all nursed together and slept together as if the squirrel was their brother. SOOO CUTE!

photoshop...ugh

i havent used photoshop in forever and its taking years to do each of these homepages-- boo

website research times ten...

Band of Horses
SO COOL!-- i love how the "buckets" make the information slide across the page on ropes and pully things-- very interesting design I have never seen a site that displays the information in this way. Even though there are 10 buckets it is still very clear and very organized- there is never too much on a page. LOVE IT!

This website is very unique-- not all of the pages are amazing but the home page is very interactive and interesting-- very unusual. The site is fairly cohesive but I do think some pages are lacking.

I love the very simple but personal feel of the site. The handwritten type face adds a lot to the home page and throughout the site-- I love the middle bucket area with changing pictures in the painting and the hand drawn feel of the icons. It is a well- organized cohesive site.

AWESOME website-- amazing illustrations/animations-- very well organized and clean-- easy to read-- i love how when your mouse goes over a bucket name- a different illustration/animation shows in the center-- very well designed.

I think this site is well organized and easy to read. I like that the buckets stay on every page so you can always click back and I also like the little animation that happens when your mouse rolls over a bucket. This site is more complex/busy than others but still very readable and there isn't too much on a page--very cohesive. Also, I like the unique shapes and I really like his logo.

This is another really clear site-- it is simple but has great editorial photos and great organization. There is never too much on a page and it is easy to go back and fourth between categories.

Great site-- organization and simple animations are really nice-- drop down menus and three main buckets are very well organized and easy to read.

I use this site all the time to catch up on shows because I never have time to watch them when they are actually on TV. Anyway, I think it is very well organized-- it has won several awards. Its very easy to find the show you want to watch and find out what shows are on and when they are on.

This site is extremely clean and organized-- love the type and the organization-- drop down menus with pictures are really interesting. I really like the outdoorsy yet sophisticated feel-- something I want to replicate in my designs-- I like the idea of a landscape photo as a background.

I am having trouble finding "outdoorsy" sites that are well-designed. This one is very well organized and I really liked the way the pictures are arranged and the simple categories of : eat, stay, go, do, see. I like the way the photos scroll and the way they expand when you roll over them.
